I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
